Spiritual Juice

One goal of mine is to read the whole Bible cover to cover or, since I usually use my kindle from start to end click. I've tried about a gazillion different plans. I even still get some emailed to me daily, which I then go on to delete. Is it tedious? Have you ever tried to read Leviticus? Tim (dear husband with 2 bible colleges under his belt) says his room mate read it standing up so he didn't fall asleep. That probably would work for 5 chapters, but 12??? So, I came upon the 90 day bible challenge. (Find the plan here)  I tried it last year, but then a fire and wedding happened and I stopped at Psalms. After about being half way through. So, here I have started again. But a little differently, I bought their version of the bible, which really is the same as any other except there aren't notes or guides or anything to distract you. They also have a section where you can listen to the weekly session associated with what you're reading and where you can listen to the Bible passage for the day.

It was going well but then something happened, I started to realize I was learning something. I think satan did too. How do I know? I went through about 2 boxes of kleenex in emotional distress over just about anything and everything. I kept hearing in my mind how I was a failure and it never really mattered any way and just about any other negative thought that could pop in there. So, here I go again on a new day with a new section of reading. Figuring I probably pissed of satan again. Too bad for him, but it's my goal and I think I'll be printing out a certificate saying I completed the challenge to focus on.
